Overview

RAMS is a fully digital rack inspection and safety management platform built to help warehouse teams audit pallet racking at scale, identify risks early, and coordinate repairs with clear, trackable workflows. The product brings together inspection scheduling, rack health visualization, issue reporting, and monitoring dashboards—available on web and mobile for field and operations teams.

Web Platform

For supervisors, safety teams, and managers to monitor warehouse health and drive remediation.

Mobile Experience

Mobile-first interface ensuring inspections are usable on-site, where speed matters most.

The Challenge

Warehouse racking inspections are high-stakes and operationally messy. RAMS needed to turn fragmented processes into a repeatable, trackable, and scalable system—without slowing down real warehouse work.

Fragmented Inspections

Inspections across multiple bays, zones, and warehouses made standardization difficult.

Manual Data Capture

Findings in spreadsheets, paper, and chat photos led to data loss and low audit readiness.

No Risk Visibility

Teams couldn't quickly answer: Which zones are highest risk? What needs replace vs repair?

No Pattern Detection

Repeated impacts in the same locations (forklift/MHE movement) went unnoticed.

Teams struggled to answer basic questions quickly:

?Which zones are highest risk right now?
?What's completed vs pending this week?
?Which issues require replace vs repair vs observation?
?Are repeated impacts happening in the same locations?

Project Goals

1

For Field Teams

Make Inspections Operationally Simple

  • A mobile-first experience for daily and detailed inspections
  • Clear task views for what's next, ongoing, and completed
  • Fast, structured reporting with photo evidence and standardized severity
2

For Operations & Safety

Give Leadership Real-Time Risk Visibility

  • Dashboards showing inspections over time and completion trends
  • Rack Health views highlighting risk zones and severity distribution
  • Single source of truth for audits, compliance, and maintenance planning
3

Not Just Documentation

Convert Issues Into Action

  • Workflow from issue detection → verification → action required
  • Support for classifying problems and assigning remediation paths
  • Traceability for internal safety teams and third-party audits

Web App for Operations & Admin

A responsive web platform for supervisors, safety teams, and managers to monitor warehouse health and drive remediation.

Traffic-Light Risk Indicators

Rack Health Visualization

Bay and layout-level view using traffic-light severity (green/amber/red) to quickly identify high-risk zones.

  • Visual layout map with green/amber/red status indicators
  • Overall health percentage with healthy vs damaged breakdown
  • Local and global risk level tracking
  • Component-level damage statistics (upright, beam, bracing)
Reported issues detail view with photo attachments and traffic-light severity classification

Structured Review Flow

Reported Issues & Verification

Issue details with photo attachments, severity classification, and structured verification workflow.

  • Issue details with rack ID, location, and severity level
  • Photo attachments for visual verification
  • Traffic-light severity system (Green/Amber/Red thresholds)
  • Action required classification with verification workflow

Safety Signal Monitoring

MHE Movement Tracking

Visual layout maps highlighting impact hotspots and forklift movement patterns for safety analysis.

  • Visual warehouse layout with impact detection zones
  • Impact vs automated breaking event classification
  • MHE ID and aisle-level tracking
  • Event list with urgency categorization
Forklift monitor showing warehouse layout with impact zones and event statistics

Real-Time Impact Tracking

Forklift Monitor

Dedicated monitoring for forklift impacts with movement tracking and detailed event logs.

  • Forklift movement tracking on warehouse layout
  • Impact event detection with timestamps
  • Forklift ID association for accountability
  • Impact statistics with shock type classification

Mobile Experience for Inspectors

A mobile-first interface ensuring inspections are actually usable on-site, where speed matters.
