Who this policy covers

Salt Technologies is the business name used by Salt Web Technologies Private Limited in India and Salt Technologies, Inc. in the United States. Salt Web Technologies Private Limited operates this website. Enquiries may be handled by the relevant Salt entity and its authorized team. Your proposal or agreement identifies the entity providing contracted services.

This policy covers information collected through this website and related enquiry follow-up. Processing of customer data within a contracted project is governed by the applicable agreement and any data-processing terms. Third-party websites have their own policies.

Information you provide

The enquiry form requests your name, email address, and project message. You may also provide your company, phone number, service of interest, team time zone, budget or target date, and how you found Salt. We receive information you send separately by email or during subsequent discussions.

We record a submission reference, timestamp, selected service or use case, and processing status. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, medical records, or other sensitive information in a general enquiry. Arrange an appropriate sharing method with us when a project requires confidential material.

Careers applications

The careers form collects your name, email, role or area of interest, and either an uploaded CV or a profile link. You may also provide a phone number, city, experience, availability, and introduction. We use these details to review your application and communicate about recruitment. Submitting an application does not subscribe you to sales marketing.

Applications are stored separately from sales enquiries. Uploaded CVs are kept in private file storage, with downloads restricted to authorized Salt administrators. Candidate records do not include the optional browsing context used by the sales enquiry form. We do not automatically rank applicants or make hiring decisions through this form.

Applications and CVs do not currently expire automatically. To request access, correction, or deletion, contact careers@salttechno.com and include your application reference if available. Please do not submit identity documents, bank information, or confidential client material.

Optional browsing context

If you enable “Personalized enquiry support” in Privacy preferences, this browser tab records a limited history of pages visited on this website, approximate time and scroll depth, internal links clicked, a bounded timeline of enquiry and content-link interactions, entry page, referral website origin, campaign tags, browser language, time zone, and broad device category. A snapshot can be included with your enquiry to help us understand its context.

This feature does not record keystrokes, screen recordings, or your browsing history on other websites. Declining optional context does not prevent form submission. An external referral origin, when provided by the browser, does not reveal your full browsing history.

Optional Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and enquiry conversion. For visitors identified by our hosting platform as being in the United States, basic analytics starts by default unless you have opted out or a browser privacy signal is present. Elsewhere, or when location cannot be determined, analytics remains off until you allow it. You can turn it off at any time using Privacy preferences. Browsing context attached to enquiries requires a separate opt-in in every region. Our configured events exclude names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, project messages, and submission references. Our integration strips query strings from reported page URLs and sends only the referring website origin. Google may process technical information, including IP address to derive approximate location. Advertising signals and personalization are disabled.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies while analytics is enabled. You can withdraw permission through Privacy preferences; our integration stops sending events and removes its accessible Google Analytics cookies. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable optional analytics and browsing context. The enquiry form works without either.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page visits and loading performance. It follows the same Website analytics preference and regional defaults as Google Analytics, including previous opt-outs and browser privacy signals. Cloudflare describes this service as using no analytics cookies or visitor fingerprinting. We do not send enquiry fields or connect these reports to individual lead records.

Cloudflare receives page and performance information through its analytics beacon. New reports stop when website analytics is disabled. Reports already sent cannot be recalled through the preference control. Browser blockers may prevent measurement.

Browser storage and your controls

Your separate analytics and browsing-context preferences are stored in local storage until changed or cleared. Optional visit context is kept in session storage and is no longer used after 30 minutes without recorded activity. An unsent enquiry draft is kept in this tab’s session storage for recovery for up to 24 hours and is cleared after confirmed submission. Expired data may remain in browser storage until cleared or overwritten, but is not restored by the website.

You can change your choice through Privacy preferences at the bottom of the page. Declining clears locally stored optional visit context. Clearing browser storage also removes the stored preference and draft. These actions do not delete information previously submitted to Salt.

The optional context feature remains disabled when the browser supplies a Global Privacy Control signal, even if an earlier stored choice allowed it. Essential website delivery and security functions may still operate. The current enquiry-context feature uses browser storage rather than advertising cookies.

Technical information and company signals

The hosting infrastructure processes technical request information to deliver and protect the website; this can include an IP address and browser or request details. The lead-capture application does not store raw IP addresses in the lead record. It can receive approximate network country, region, city, and time zone from the hosting platform.

The application can derive a possible company website from an email domain and identify topics from optional on-site context. These are unverified signals, not proof of employment, residence, or purchase intent. No off-site behavioural research is performed by this enquiry feature.

Why we use information

We use enquiry information to respond, clarify requirements, prepare proposals, manage follow-up, and maintain a record of communications. Technical information supports delivery, troubleshooting, and protection against misuse. Optional context helps us understand which services or topics interest an enquirer.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, responding to requested pre-contract steps, legitimate interests in business communication and website security, legal obligations, and consent for optional context may apply, depending on the activity. You can withdraw optional-context consent through Privacy preferences. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing.

Who may receive information

Authorized Salt personnel may access enquiries for their work. Hosting and database providers process information needed to operate the website. Resend processes enquiry notifications sent to our sales team, including the submitted details and any optional context you permitted. Google processes optional analytics as described above. HubSpot is not currently connected to this website form.

We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims, subject to applicable requirements. The website’s enquiry feature does not sell personal information or transmit it to advertising networks for cross-context behavioural advertising.

International handling and security

Salt operates in India and the United States. Information may be accessed by the relevant team and processed by infrastructure providers in other locations. A US office address does not mean that enquiry data is stored only in the United States. Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, those requirements apply; merely viewing this notice is not consent to every international transfer.

Lead administration restricts access to authorized administrators. We take measures appropriate to the information and systems involved, but no transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure.

Retention

Local browser-storage periods are described above. Submitted enquiries are stored separately and do not automatically expire after those periods. The current application does not apply a universal automatic deletion period to submitted leads.

Retention depends on the enquiry and subsequent relationship, ongoing follow-up, contractual or legal recordkeeping needs, and dispute or security requirements. You may ask us to review information for correction or deletion. Some records may need to be retained where permitted or required by applicable law; clearing your browser does not remove those records.

Requests and regional rights

Contact sales@salttechno.com with the subject “Privacy request” to ask about access, correction, deletion, or use of your enquiry information. Include the email used for your enquiry and its reference if available. Do not send identity documents unless requested through an appropriate channel. We may need proportionate verification before releasing or changing records.

Depending on your location and the law applicable to the processing, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy, withdraw consent, opt out of certain uses, or complain to a relevant authority. California sale/sharing and sensitive-information rights apply where the relevant law applies. We do not require you to waive applicable rights to contact us.

We assess requests under applicable requirements and explain any permitted reason why a request cannot be fulfilled. You may ask for further review of our response. Reply to a follow-up email if you no longer want further sales contact.

Children and other websites

This website is intended for business enquiries, not for children. Please contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information so that we can review it and take appropriate action.

Links to review platforms, documentation, or other external websites take you to services governed by their own privacy practices.

Updates and contact

The update date identifies the latest revision of this notice. We will provide additional notice or request a new choice where required for a material change in processing.

Aggregate server traffic reporting

Separately from optional browser analytics, we count public page and discovery-file requests received by our application, including automated requests and requests from visitors who have not accepted or have rejected optional analytics. We use these counters to understand site demand, crawler access, and response errors. They do not use analytics cookies or create individual visitor profiles.

The stored data consists of aggregate counts by known page, response status, request type, referring domain and source category, approximate country when available, and client or crawler category. Crawler requests are also grouped by UTC hour, claimed agent, documented role, verification evidence, known page, and status. For supported crawlers, we compare the incoming network address against official provider IP ranges in memory; the address is not saved in this reporting tool. We do not store raw IP addresses, visitor identifiers, query strings, full referral URLs, or raw user-agent strings in this reporting tool. We do not join its counters to enquiry records. Browser and crawler classifications are approximate.

Counters are kept for up to 90 calendar days and older counters are removed on the next eligible request when cleanup runs. Reporting is limited to requests that reach the application; it does not capture all upstream blocked or cached traffic. Contact sales@salttechno.com for questions about this processing.

We also count submission-response outcomes server-side, without field values, and report saved enquiry totals from the lead database. Optional browser interaction events follow the Website analytics preference. These are client-reported aggregate counts, not verified conversions. Events attached to an individual enquiry require Personalized enquiry support permission and are limited to this website and browser tab.
